Coming soon to the silver screen is another remake of Robocop.
This film is one of my childhood wonders and the eye opener to the world of the future, just like in the "Back to the Future". A cyborg police ! He is so cool even when he is the original model.
For this new Robocop, as some have commented that his suit is a crossover of Dark Knight and Iron Man, I still have to watch the movie to see how different and good it is.
The movie has kept the Cop name as Alex Murphy and also has a family but now in 2014, he is critically injured in a car bomb while in the 1987 movie, he is killed by a group of notorious gangster in the line of duty. Back then , he has a female partner who eventually helped him to regained his memory.
The company that creates Robocop in 2014 movie is called OmniCorp while in 1987 it is named as Omni Consumer Products (OCP).
He still has that side gun hidden at his thigh and now he rides a bike. He does looks more flexible compared to his 1987 counterpart, who is more bulkier. How can you not have ED-209 which is the "arch-enemy" of RoboCop. He too has some edition which makes him slicker than before.
Already in the showing across the silver screen, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
An average working guy who works his time off at LIFE, who does not have an interesting life and the only thing he did is "Day Dream" his moments. This is something which I think many of us does imagine along your life but may not like Walter who went into a daze. That's dangerous.
Well, as expected, he eventually went into some adventure that incidentally cause by his work. However, it may seems boring as I am writing it but it is an inspiring movie to watch packed with fun and hilarious moments. Laugh it out and ask yourself. Have you live your life? Here is a new year, a new beginning.
It does not always mean going to somewhere around the world or doing some big stuff. The world is right in front of you! Even the smallest act of difference means life. Be well and smiley always.
This movie has been off the silver screen for months now and the reason why I post it is that the toys are still gaining on the collectors. I think I should give some credits to this monster movie and give you another KAIJU time !
Cool giant robots and hideous monsters (Kaiju) with end of the world threat. What a typical story background but we never got sick of such fantasy. Putting these three elements together is like dropping an atomic bomb on the silver screen. Either you are overwhelm or you go cool...
The last time I saw a Japanese re-enactment of Kaiju into Hollywood blockbuster is Godzilla and now we have many many monsters that resembles of the Kaiju we saw in Japanese Ultraman.
For these Hollywood made Kaiju, they replicate after animals which we can easily relate to and they are awesome and beautiful from the screen.
The robots known as Jaeger remind me of a bigger version of Real Steel and still kicking fresh in my mind. They are piloted by humans and you need two to sustain and control a Jaeger. It is kind of a hazardous and dangerous job to do.
So what do you have to lose since you will be getting a movie with three awesome ingredients.
December is round the corner as we speak and here is the anticipated movie trilogy from the Hobbits.
The Desolution of Smaug.
Somehow, the hobbits is not as enticing during the times of the Lord of the Rings, which can be explained through the popularity between the two novels.
Well, as a Lord of the Rings fans, you shall not miss this sequel of fantasy.

In the back and white silver screen days, monsters of such are terrifying and Boris Karloff has brought one of these monsters back to life in his movies, The Mummy.
From the Universal Studios, Sideshow Toy gave us a version of these replica back in the 1998 and he is one good classic figure. If you want to see how Mummies are originally depicted in movies, this is the guy to watch.
Comes with a detailed base and accessories to fit in, you can create a nightmare for yourself.
This is the first figure of the wave I managed to get hold of and hopefully, I can get the rest of them, like Frankenstein and Woflman.
Meantime, some history and interesting features of him.
When Despicable Me came out in the silver screen, it was not a big bam at the beginning. Creating a new breed of cute cuddly minions to entice the animation market into the children's world needs creativity and timing. Not all are successful but this time, the minions work hard for it and they have hold their position in the hearts of all children and adults.
Here is Despicable Me 2 and I will watch it as the first movie is funny yet can be watch over again for me.
This time, Gru, is going to save the world? He is suppose to be despicable and somehow the three little girls have soften him in the first movie where is returns the Moon to the world.
Now what will he be up to and how his reliable minions are there to support him. Watch out for this funny animation.

Zombies zombies zombies. This is not just another zombie movie, it is another cross love mix breed movie. Yes, you got that feeling that you are watching a lighter part of Twilight Saga.
Here Nicholas Hoult (also in Jack the Giant Slayer and X Men as Beast), known as R the zombie in the movie is a unique zombie, who tries to be different.
And one fine day, as usual, met this girl, Julie in feast fight, ended up eating her boyfriend brain and fell in love with her. His heart starts to react and slowly cures him into human again.
So for this movie, you got a cure called "Love" where other Zombie zone like Will Smith were in " I am a Legend" needs him to be the cure.
This "Love" cure is better and needs a series of care and therapy.
Well, I was treated to this movie, so no compliants.
Light-hearted with no heart throbbing actions except for the Bony guys.
Now he is challenge with his inner search of self or suit and the people responsible for destroying his personal life. Arm with a dangerous quest, he search on to protect those closest to him.
Watch out in May 2013. Another Marvel legends on the rise again.
Superman again and again. Now back to square one where he belongs and how he started in search of his inner self.
You can expect similar struggle as in the Dark Knight from Christopher Nolan. The darker style of displaying comic book heroes and realistically to this world adaptation where shows the ugly side of humanities.
Give us all a chance to review this great Superhero movie in all new ways again.
Jack the Giant Slayer, this may be my first movie in 2013.
Another movie from fairy tales, how many are we expecting to come.
An obvious adoption from our childhood fairytale story of Jack and the BeanStalk, where Jack climbs the beanstalk to the land of the giant to steal from him. Whatever follows, I guess you should know.
Well, over here in the movie adaptation, Jack becomes a Giant Slayer. You got to admit that nobody is interested in the old tale of Jack stealing the Hen that lays golden eggs and other stuff.
Also another remake from the Jack the Giant Killer in 1962.
I am going to watch this Stop-motion comedy horror !!!
For me, does not need to be 3D and this should be a fun movie to watch.
A boy named Norman who can see "things" and how does he react?
It is the Seventh Lunar Month of the Chinese Calendar and makes the kid jump out of you. Who ever wonders how does the Seventh Month relate to this, then I know where you come from.
Anyway, go catch it while I still trying to find time for it.

BRAVE.......a good animation to chance upon with a good family theme to go along.
Story goes about with this little Scotland girl princess that hates tradition and tries to escape through witchery. Little does she knows there is a price to pay.
It is also a Bear basis film where you see Big Bear, Mother Bear and three little Bears. Goldilocks now becomes red hair.
Yo! Yo! Yo! Vampires are running around freely again after twilight Saga romance. Here comes Abraham, isn't he the 16th president of America? Moon lighting as Vampire hunter? Where he finds the time?
Anyway, movie is movie for fun. I have yet to watch it but from the trailer, I got a feeling of Van Helsing in the coming.
Whatever it is, I can only comment after I watch it.
And here is the trailer if you intend to save up from watching the movie. Watch it umpteen times, may be, that is what the show about.
Yet another comic flick with a story from the beginning and now they say " It's an untold story of Spiderman". Frankly, I am not a comic book reader so I do not know the true background of it in comic book.
Movies are meant to be spinning entertainment and money, so Marvel and Hollywood are just making the bucks out of the summer time.
With Spidey swaying around town should make a watchable 3D version.

It has been more than a decade since the First MIB gets into the movie screen and now as Aliens are back in town. MIB is back for another money spin with Will Smith (matured!!!).
